Since the advancement of technology, many kinds of biologic dressing materials-skin replacement or growth factors have been introduced for promoting wound healing without skin grafting. Cultured allogenic keratinocyte (CAK) is a material which contains abundant growth factors and cytokines. CAK can promote cell proliferation, migration and create basement membrane through secreting growth factor and cytokines and it has been applied to burn wounds to promote and enhance wound healing in clinical settings. In this report, authors applide the its clinical usage to various kinds of partial skin thickness skin defects and achieved fast re-epithelization which formed in all 5 cases healing.
